The current by-laws were approved my membership during the 2009 Biennial General Membership Meeting in St. John, NL. Any further changes to these by-laws are accomplished during future biennial general membership meetings, or at special general membership meetings.

Membership
This section is a description of the three types of membership available in CAAPN.
Officers
The section is a description of the officers (executive members) and the election process to the CAAPN.
Meetings
The general membership is involved in the work of CAAPN. In addition to executive meetings held at least on a monthly basis, general membership meetings are necessary for the association’s accountability and function.
Committees
The volunteer members of the executive committee have the responsibility of leadership of the CAAPN.
Dissolution
Directions have been stipulated by membership for the provision of these association’s funds should dissolution occur.
